A big meal for dinner to end the conference.
It seems like the kids were really inspired after being able to see, listen to, counsel with, and hang out with young guys who are dedicated in doing God’s work and In encouraging them to do the same.
Daniel was so influenced by Elias, Gracio, and Felisberto that he asked Victor if he could go to bible school. Daniel came to the orphanage after being rescued from relatives who used him to make beer after his mother was killed by a land mine when he was a child. When he got older he came on staff and was in charge of construction while finishing secondary school, which only goes up through 10th grade for most people. Daniel just graduated from 10th grade and passed his final exams this November. After telling Victor that he wanted to go to bible school Victor was able to get him into a bible school program in Beira that is starting right away. Daniel actually left for bible school yesterday! We are so pleased with his decision to learn more about God’s word and see where God will lead him next. Please pray for Daniel as he begins this new journey.
